You want to know your pets and home will be well looked after, one of the best securities for this is selecting an established company with a proven track record. Cat Sitting Manchester is owned and operated by Dragonfly Pet Concierge, Manchester's Premier Pet Service Provider. Having been around since 2010 we really know what we are doing, and we can share this expertise with you. We choose to be fully insured and have a specially, legally prepared contract, unique to ourselves.
You're in good company, from globe-trotting entrepreneurs, barristers, head teachers, doctors, police and fire officers to the likes of the BBC and ITV join the hundreds of Clients served by us. We have worked in the media since 2009 on projects such as animal handling whilst filming Coronation Street for ITV, caring for the Blue Peter dog on behalf of the BBC and animal photo shoots for national magazines.
At Cat Sitting Manchester we really care about our Clients. We offer a fresh approach to cat care in a loving and safe environment - your home. Your cat(s) enjoy familiar surroundings and favourite cat nap places. The visits are often more cost effective than using catteries and you can benefit from all our extra services (which are all free of charge), knowing your home is looked after whilst you are away.
As with all our pet sitting services, prices are per household not per pet. We operate a 'stay and play' policy for cats who like attention, which means we will use the visit to attend to your cats needs and after feeding and cleaning duties, will use the full 30 minute or 1 hour visit to play and stroke/brush your cat(s) providing the love and attention they miss when you are away.
Clients may also use our services for ad-hoc feeding whilst at work, as well as in emergencies. If you are kept away from home for whatever reason, we will be able to attend to care for your cat(s).
We operate in all areas within the M60 and some surrounding areas. The northern border of our cat sitting service area is Middleton, the southern is Didsbury, Chorlton, Burnage and Withington. We go further west covering Stretford and Sale and as far to the east as Oldham, Tameside, Ashton-under-Lyne and Hyde. Meaning any areas in between such as Failsworth, Droylsden, Salford (inc. Media City & Salford Quays), Gorton, Chadderton etc. are all areas we operate. We have no 'per mile charges' all our customers pay the same.

Your pet is important to us which is why when you make a booking, you'll be covered by our comprehensive insurance policy. Our insurance cover includes £5m public liability, loss of keys and the benefit of emergency vet care. All of our bookings are eligible for this cover at no extra cost.

A van with signage clearly showing that you are using a pet sitting service is excellent for the pet sitter looking to gain new business but doesn't have any benefit to the client. In terms of home security it offers no protection. Having a signed van turn up outside your house when you are away advertising pet services can, and has been known to, be noticed by thieves as an alert that you are away. That is why we have always been committed to not using any vehicles with signage. By using an unmarked car we are not drawing attention to ourselves when visiting your home. What's more, with the addition of putting wheelie bins out, opening and closing curtains and turning lights on or off for example, we help to maintain the appearance that your property is being lived in. Your home security is important to us, we would never put advertising our services over that. Unfortunately, it has become popular with Franchises to offer a Van with signage as this is one of the only tangible things they can provide as part of the signup package. Marked vehicles are still sometimes used by service providers who might not have known or considered the risks to your security when first setting up their business.
